Martha Bucher
Graphic/Visual Designer
I have been an artist my whole life. I started as a young child drawing sketches of things I saw around me. I took art classes all through Jr. High and High school. There I learned all different forms of traditional media. My favorites were pencil/charcoal and pastel chalks. After High school I worked a few different jobs for a few years. I then joined the Air Force in 1997 as an aircraft mechanic. I worked on aircraft for 6 years and then got a great opportunity to work as a Graphic Artist creating training aides for aircraft mechanics. I did that for 8 years. It was there I decided to pursue my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design. In addition to working as a graphic artist for the Air Force, I have done freelance work and lots of work for friends and family. Digital art is now my favorite medium. I am now a retired Air Force Veteran continuing on my Artistic Journey.
Bachelor's degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, graduating with Honors
